Loretto’s legacy

We have also been busy finalising our story resource in memory of PAMIS founder Loretto Lambe with the three story books now complete and sent to the printers.  Everyone is working flat out for the launch event in the spring and hope to see you all there. We are very lucky to have had the support of various community groups from Aberfeldy in the development of this beautiful resource and will share this with you at our book launch event.

The boxes for the stories are being made at The Workshop Aberfeldy which is a social enterprise with a passion for providing opportunities for to support people from Highland Perthshire into employment, self-employment or further training by giving them the opportunity to learn practical and technical manufacturing skills, as well as business management skills. The Workshop is open to all, but has a particular focus on those under 25 or facing additional barriers to employment.

The dolls for the story are being knitted by Aberfeldy knitting group, as seen below.
