Family Carers Focus Group

PAMIS are hoping to engage with family carers who may be in, or considering re-entering, employment.  The Empathetic Routes to Employment project is aiming to gather information from family carer lived experiences to understand the barriers and enablers of working when involved in intensive caring roles. Understanding these will enable PAMIS to develop resources and support for family carers who wish to enter or remain in employment alongside a toolkit to support employers to provide supportive work environments.

This is a 3 year project that aims to support those with intensive caring roles to maintain or develop a working life outside the role of being a family carer, if they so choose.

We are hosting 2 focus groups should you wish to get involved, please see the date, time and venue below:

Tuesday 13th June 11am – 2-30pm – Glasgow (see flyer for details of the venue)

Thursday 22nd June 11am – 2-30pm – Dundee (venue tbc)

All travel costs will be met, lunch will be provided, and we can cover any additional care costs entailed.

Many thanks for your input and should you have any questions or concerns please do contact Carolynne Hunter the project lead email [email protected]

Thank you
