Dr Hannah Young has worked in academia - teaching and research - for the past decade. She contributes to national and international conferences in the learning disability field and has served as reviewer for mental health and disability journals. Her portfolio includes several publications promoting the use of sensory therapies for people with profound learning disabilities. Her experience of working for the charitable sector has enabled her to establish a balance of academic research and community engagement.
More recently, she has been developing skills in psychotherapeutic practice.
