Dr Hannah Young is lead researcher for PAMIS.
Registered as a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society, her experience includes over a decade of research, teaching and training. She has a number of publications relating to emotional well-being in people with profound learning disabilities, and serves as a reviewer for national and international disability and mental health journals.
1. Art as Care - evaluating the outcomes of creative arts as a participatory approach, within the context of a day resource centre for people with learning disabilities. Funded by Health Improvement Scotland. Working in partnership with Dr Susan Levy, University of Dundee and ArtLink.
2. Medication Management - a feasibility study to establish scope for the development and implementation of an electronic medication management system within a Scottish health and social care context. Partnership with Robert Gordon University and Stirling University. Funded by Digital Health and Care Institute.
Hannah is also pursuing her interests in psychotherapy for people with learning disabilities.
